Challenge: Hinge is a dating app that aims to help its users find love by setting up dates. Hinge is interested in getting new users to download the app and create a dating profile.
Solution: I created a spec ad that highlights a dating struggle for Hinge's primary user base; users ages 23-36. This demographic also utilizes social media for dating but it is not highly successful. It can be intimidating for many and conversations may fizzle out a.k.a. messages being "left on seen," as shown in the first image.
The second image demonstrates a user creating a Hinge profile and using a prompt that can facilitate conversations from interested prospects. This can result in more matches and helps arrange dates, as shown in the third image. The call to action (CTA) encourages prospects to download Hinge.
